Just another trip to Target

I was at Target last week, probably shopping for diapers and makeup, when I stumbled across this gorgeous lampshade.

I think it is youthful and so fun, and would make a perfect addition to our new home.  I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned on the blog before, but we have plans to change up our color scheme at the new house.  Currently, we use browns, greens and reds.  While I have loved them for the past 5 years, it’s time for a change.  We all evolved and grow over time, right?  Add that to the fact I’m a Stay at Home Mom and I’m home a lot more than I was when I was working, and I’m sick of them.

Our new decor will have to be done on a budget, so seeing this shade led me to do a bit of research to see what else Target is carrying this season in their home decor.  Check out what I found!

Animal figurines are all the rage so I was not surprised to find this little gem from Target.

This grosgrain applique toss pillow would be a great addition to our office or living room.

We are thinking grays and whites for our bedroom, so this pillow would be be a great accent.

I love this tortoise shell for a bit of funky decor, from the Nate Berkus collection for Target.

I love these accent tables.  I think they would make great end tables for a glammed up Master suite.

I’m going to keep my eyes open for other little treasures before we move into the house.  It’s hard to not purchase items right now, but I’m really trying to wait until we get into the house to see what we need.  If you’re in the market for some fun accessories, check out Target!
